Itinerary Oslo to Bergen

Day 1 :

Arrive in Oslo for an overnight stay. Take time to explore Norway's bustling capital.

Day 2 :

Board the train to Bergen, sit back and relax and watch the scenery pass by. Arrive in Bergen in the afternoon and transfer to the quay for embarkation. (B)

Itinerary Bergen to Oslo

After breakfast, board the train to Oslo which will take you across the Hardanger plateau, Europe's highest mountain plateau and past lakes and streams. Arrive in Oslo in the afternoon for another nights' stay. (B)

Day 3 :

Explore the sights of Oslo before continuing your journey. (B)

Tale of Two Capitals

Why not extend your stay in Norway and enjoy one of the most scenic train rides in Northern Europe? The popular 'Tale of Two Capitals' extension can be combined with the Classic Norwegian Discovery voyage and takes in a stay in Trondheim, Norway's Viking capital. This is followed by the train journey to Oslo where you have two nights to take in some of the many sights of the city. Oslo is home to many museums, galleries, the Vigeland sculpture park as well as the new Holmenkollen ski-jump. You could add this as a land only package or include your return flights.

Itinerary

Day 1 :

Arrive in Trondheim and disembark. Transfer to the rail station and board your train in Trondheim for the journey to Oslo. It will take you past mountains and lakes before pulling into Oslo in the afternoon. Stay here for one night and explore the sights of Oslo.

Day 2 :

Explore the sights of Oslo before flying home. (B)
